Ron Gilad
Ron Gilad is a philosopher of the everyday object.
Israeli by origin, Gilad studied industrial design at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He taught conceptual 3D design at the Shenkar School of Engineering and Design in Israel. In 2001 Gilad relocated to New York and co-founded Designfenzider, a test lab for his ideas. Since 2006 Gilad teaches conceptual 3D design at Pratt Institute in NY.
