The “DISCO VOLANTE” tray, with a stainless steel double-wall structure, is further confirmation (if any were needed) of the acute and sensitive minimalist spirit of Piero Lissoni. The simple design of glasses and bottles hovering a few centimetres above the table top on which the tray is placed adds a new elegance to the ancient ritual of serving drinks.
The Disco Volante tray is made up of a polished stainless steel double shell. The solid volume effect contrasts nicely with its surprising lightness. The two stainless steel parts forming the Disco Volante are welded together using the TIG method (Tungsten Inert Gas), which guarantees perfect quality even with very thin materials and acute angles between the welded parts.
