Unlike machine made graters, these copper graters' teeth were hand finished and lined up irregularly. Due to its extremely sharp surface the grater grinds foods efficiently and into a very fine paste.
This grater can be used for vegetables including ginger and wasabi and various fruits. Do not use it for bones or a hard surface.
Wash and dry well after each use and keep away from heat. If food is stuck in the graters teeth, a toothbrush may be used for effective removal. Do not use bleach, a harsh cleanser or steel wool. Not dishwasher/microwave safe.
