Alessi's La Cintura di Orione stockpot, through research conducted with famed Italian chef Gualtiero Marchesi, led to a pot perfectly cylindrical in shape, not least because it corresonds formally to the stylistic feature of the cylinder, an enlightened, rationalistic, geometric form which established itself at the beginning of the nineteenth century for the casserole and the low with two handles. The stockpot is produced in thick 18/10 stainless steel.
