The mono-filio teacups have a vertical stainless steel frame in which the glass cup is suspended. mono has developed a process that allows the frame to made of one single piece, thus eliminating all soldering spots. This is reminiscent of the classic tea ceremony that is marked by simplicity and serentiy. "Less is more", said Sen Rikyu, the 16th cenury Grand Master of the tea ceremony.
