Menu has created a new glass for lattes and other hot drinks. The square form of the glass with its smooth rounded corners gives them a characteristic and interesting look; designer Jakob Wagner has further emphasised this special form with an engraved wave that wraps around the glass.
Jakob Wagner explains that he selected this form because it gives the glasses a different and striking appearance and because it makes them enjoyable to drink from and hold. Hands can simply hold an angular glass better, avoiding the sensation of the glass suddenly sliding out of your hand while enjoying hot coffee.
The tempered glass is perfect for hot drinks such as lattes, hot chocolate and tea, all of which are at their most attractive when served in clear glasses.
