The saucette includes a melting bowl, whisk, ladle, and tealight candle. The saucette can be used to gently melt chocolate or butter, and is ideal for making home-made chocolates and chocolate fondue, or serving sauces and gravies, because it keeps the contents warm without bringing it to a boil. Made of 18/10 mirror polished stainless steel.

The saucette is ideal for sauces, gravies, melted butter, etc. The contents are kept warm throughout the meal and the saucette is a handsome addition to any table. The shape of the bowl promotes optimal distribution of heat.
The saucette is also perfect for melting chocolate – when making home-made chocolates and chocolate-coated fruits. The chocolate doesn't scorch and never gets so hot that children can't join in the fun, since there is no risk that little fingers will get burned.
Without the tea-light, the saucette is a beautiful way to serve cold dips and dressings.
The ladle can be hung on the edge of the saucette and the base will catch any drips. The whisk is used to keep your sauces smooth and silky.
Practical Details:
The saucette is dishwasher safe.
To remove burnt-on food residue, soak the saucette in hot water. Do not use sharp objects to remove residues, as they can scratch the steel.
Do not mix stainless steel, iron, and silver in the dishwasher as doing so may promote rust film. We recommend that you do not use strong or abrasive cleaning products because they can damage the surface of stainless steel. Use steel polish to remove any stains or discoloration.
Note! Never use stainless steel in the microwave.
Recipe: Chocolate Fondue (serves 4):
100 g dark chocolate
½-1 dl whipping cream
A hint of cognac
Grated orange peel (optional)
Break the chocolate into small pieces and allow to melt in the saucette (about 6 minutes). Gently warm the cream in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and stir into the melted chocolate. Add cognac and orange peel to taste. The saucette with the melted chocolate can now be served directly at the dessert table. The hot chocolate sauce is a delicious accompaniment to fruit and ice cream.
