With new high output LEDs and adjustable brightness, the new full size i-Bar makes the perfect compact task light. Able to fold away to a slim nothing, the sleek size lets you bring adjustable light to even the most space-challenged places. When fully extended, the slim body stays unobtrusive while expertly lighting your desk. With the LEDs' long life, you don't need to constantly toss out old light bulbs or mercury laden fluorescents anymore so it's better for the environment, and the low heat and lack of breakable glass means less "ouch" potential.
The new High Power lamp gives a bright and broad light, while consuming only 9 Watts, and has a built-in 4-step dimmer. Available in daylight (~5500 Kelvin) and warm-white (~3500 Kelvin) light models.
The Warm White light has a color temperature of about 3200K to 3700K. This color would match pretty closely to the light color of an incandescent light bulb. The Daylight White has a color temperature of about 4600K to 5600K. This color would match pretty closely to the light color of fluorescent light. The new High Power LEDs have a rated lifespan of up to 40,000 hours until it reaches 70% brightness.
