Armchair in polished rubber tree wood and faux leather.
|
The iconic K Chair represents the first chair by the esteemed Japanese furniture maker, Karimoku. Designed in house in 1962, the K Chair exemplifies Japanese mid-century modernism.
The wood has been polished carefully to bring out the true beauty and warmth from the wood of the rubber tree.
This reissued chair is now part of the Karimoku 60 brand. The design development process behind Karimoku 60 furniture is simple. Karimoku looked at their product catalogs from the companies beginning to the present time, choosing classic beautiful designs that remain fresh and current today. This reflects their conviction that good design from 40 years ago is good today and will still be good in 40 more years. However, since technology has advanced greatly over 40 years, they have improved internal springs, materials, and structures while retaining essential design and styling.
K Chair also available in Black faux leather.
