Iittala is a Finnish design firm founded in 1881, when a glass factory was established in the small Finnish village Iittala. The designers at Iittala believe one of the most important functions of design is to make sure that objects designed for everyday use should be universally usable.
The Alvar Aalto glass vases are mouth blown and are world-renowned. The Origo Mix and Origo dishware sets are also part of the Iittala line.
