For eating and enjoying aromas at the same time. The sense of smell, so highly considered in tasting wine, is used very little when eating. This spoon is used at El Bulli to provoke this sense, by allowing the guest to smell the aroma of one thing such as an herb or flower clipped to the spoon while tasting another thing, creating an act that awakens a sensorial mixture of taste and smell.
About the El Bulli Collection:
Designed by Luki Huber, who has been developing utensils exclusively for El Bulli restaurant since 2002. Some of these pieces are now available to the public as part of this collection. These unique utensils permit the preparation and tasting of the innovative culinary proposals of Ferran Adrià. All stainless steel pieces are dishwasher-safe. Made in Spain.
