Augusto Ghibelli
Born in Rome (Italy) in 1956. A graduate of architecture from the University of Rome, Ghibelli specializes in industrial design. As a co-founder of StudioFilRouge, he has been involved in architectural, interior design, product design and graphic projects. He has participated in the "Vasi Comunicanti" show with hand-blown Murano glass projects which has been exhibited in both Venice and Verona. He has lived in several Latin-American countries where he has colaborated with Unesco and Habitat on achitectural projects utilizing local ecological materials such as bamboo. While working on StudioFilRouge project, Ghibelli still finds time to collaborate with FAO and Cooperazione Italiana in building hospital and medical centers in Africa, the Balkans and Iraq.
