“Programma 8” has been expanded with a series of accessories and modules including the mat produced from black-coloured melamine, a thermosetting material that gives it a certain bulk and makes it particularly resistant to heat, compression moulded with a shiny hand finish. The flat surface of the mat is moulded on two levels in a regular square effect that creates a shiny-on-matte effect. The matte square patterning in relief has the key role of concealing the marks and lines that inevitably appear on the mat over time as a result of the porcelain being rested on it.
