Animals have often been the source of inspiration to determine the function of objects which are automatically decorative due to the shape of the animal itself. It is a design exercise which requires a sense of proportion and sensitivity to avoid falling into the trap of being banal. “Pip” is a little mouse with a long curly tail, with the shape of the tail used to trap the keys in while leaving the tip of the metal wire open.
