Bottle opener in 18/10 mirror polished stainless steel.
|
The bottle opener project derives from research that was started in 1999 with the Australian architect Tom Kovac,
during the “Tea & Coffee Towers” operation.
It is a miniaturised version of an architectural design for the London Serpentine Gallery.
On a reduced scale it becomes a useful domestic utensil.
Serpentine is made using steel precision casting, which guarantees excellent resistance to the pressures that the bottle opener is subjected to.
Its triangular shape doesn’t have a particular direction in which it must be used, it works the same way on both sides.
The bottle can be opened either by levering from the bottom to the top or vice versa.
Thanks to its reduced dimensions, the Serpentine fits perfectly into one hand, and it is a pleasure to hold and use. It’s as intriguing as a jewel, and for this reason it is part of the object-bijoux collection.
The item is exquisitely gift wrapped.
